What is it?

This aromatic Green Darjeeling stems from the mountains of northern India. The 'Champagne of Green Teas'

Seasonally sourced and hand-blended by Kerikeri Organic Tea partners Gary and Tracy who bring you the freshest teas and spices direct from the plantation.

Their teas are sourced directly from premium organic tea estates around the world directly to Kerikeri for custom blending. Because they import directly from tea estates, and not through tea brokers in Europe, they offer the freshest tea in New Zealand.

What are the nutritional benefits?

Full of antioxidants, Darjeeling is a black tea grown in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains and has a light, delicate and slightly musky flavour and aroma when brewed. The leaves are rich in many different bioactive compounds, including several that may have significant health benefits. Great if you're trying to cut down on caffeine but still need a little pick me up - it contains about half that of a cup of coffee.
