Full of the natural goodness of wholegrain and cholesterol-fighting fibre. Oats are well known for their nutritional benefits, having high levels of protein and dietary fibre. Oats are low in fat and full of anti-oxidants.

Any cooking recommendations?

With a delicious, subtle, nutty taste they are the perfect base for breakfast cereals, as well as a versatile baking ingredient. Use them to make your own bircher muesli by adding other flakes, dried fruits, nuts and seeds and soak overnight. Serve with natural yoghurt and apple. Make a crispy coating with them. Make cookies and granola bars. Create a thick and tasty porridge by adding your favourite milk. Just use double the amount of liquid to oats, bring to the boil and simmer for around 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
