What is it?

Batch-roasted stoneground almonds with a pinch of sea salt. Addictively nutty!

What are the nutritional benefits?

Made from 99.5% almonds, this natural nut butter is packed full of almondy nutritional goodness. Almond butter is considered slightly healthier than peanut butter because it has more vitamins, minerals, and fibre - but it contains slightly less protein.

It packs nearly three times as much vitamin E, twice as much iron, and seven times more calcium than peanut butter. It also contains healthy doses of potassium, magnesium, and zinc.

It's delicious and nutritious! Spread it on toast or celery, use it in baking or add it to sauces.

It's made by New Zealand company Chantal Organics that was started in the mid-1970s in Hawkes Bay by a group of like-minded people. They shared a vision of healthier food and a better life for their families and now make spreads and muesli, mill grains into flour and farm vegetables.
