What is it?

Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Avocado Oil infused with chilli oil to add a kick to your cooking. Awarded the "Best Chilli Oil" in the Australian Fiery Food Awards, it puts a zing into any food, whether it's Asian, Mexican or a original Kiwi dish.

What are the nutritional benefits?

Olivado extra virgin avocado oil has very high levels of beta-sitosterol (to reduce cholesterol and improve heart health), Vitamin E, lutein and lycopine (helping reduce prostate cancer and macular degeneration). It contains a 74% monounsaturated fatty acids (healthy fats which protect against heart disease). The oil is also an exceptionally rich source of the enzyme, CoQ10, which plays a vital role in our body's ability to convert food into energy. Other nutritious elements include vitamin E and carotenoids, which may protect against different types of cancer.

Where can I use it?

Get a wonderful burst of peppery heat and spice but without the burn. It's perfect for gentle heating in a frying pan as well as high heat of up to 255°C as it has a much higher smoke point than other virgin oils. Drizzle over salads and seafood. Use to panfry, roast, bake and grill. Drizzle over cooked vegetables for added heat and flavour. Add a little lemon, lime or vinegar for a simple and spicy salad dressing. Use to make dips, sauces and marinades. Drizzle it over your pizza or pasta for a kick of heat and flavour.

Anything important?

All natural, contains no trans fats, additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients. Cold pressed at temperatures below 45°C. No chemicals are ever used to extract or refine the oil from the fruit. Non GMO.
